Covid -19 Policy

Hart Lake Massage requirements for clients and what I am doing to ensure your safety and mine when I return to work on June 1st, 2020.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 please call before you can reschedule. With a mild case, you will need to have been symptom-free for 14 days before you can come in for a massage. More severe cases more like 20 days post your last day of symptoms.  Also, I would like to have a phone consult with you before you return to discuss your symptoms you had so I know the best treatment plan going forward. We are learning new things all the time about how this virus affects the body.

In order to ensure my and everyone safety I am asking that everyone who comes is vaccinated and boosted against Covid 19.

Masks. I will be wearing one and clients will be required to wear one too. Please have your mask on when you enter for your appointment, I know this is not ideal but it’s what we have to do for the foreseeable future to ensure everyone’s safety.

When clients are facedown, I will have a pillowcase draped inside the face cradle so that mask can be removed if need be for better breathing.

Hand washing: I will ask clients to remove their shoes and head straight to the bathroom to wash hands prior to the massage. I am not able to provide hand sanitizer as I am allergic to it.

Payments, I will still take checks and credit cards and cash. I will be signing for credit cards to minimize contact with the iPad.

Spacing client’s appointments Clients will be space 30 min apart to allow time for me to thoroughly clean between clients. You may notice it harder to find a time with the extra buffer and I would be happy to get you scheduled via phone and email.

Rescheduling if sick

If you are feeling unwell, please reach out and I will reschedule to when you are feeling better. There seem to be so many symptoms of COVID-19 it bests to reschedule. I have always had the policy of not coming when you are feeling unwell. Especially now considering COVID19. If you have come into contact with someone who has been diagnosed, you need to reschedule.

If following your massage you become sick within 2 weeks or so, please let me know ASAP. 

Canceling a scheduled massage: Canceling your appointment if you are not quite ready to come back for a massage. I completely understand some clients are not ready. I will be here for you when you are.
